What’s it like in central oregon?

In a word: fun

With more than 600 miles of trails, 5,600 acres of skiable terrain across three resorts, hundreds of miles of rivers, and world-class rock climbing, Central Oregon is an outdoor paradise. Locals love to claim we enjoy 300 days of sunshine a year. That number is usually closer to 225 days, which is still plenty of time to find fresh powder or paddle across a mountain lake.

In town, Bend offers farmer’s markets, cultural events, theatre, dining, museums, festivals, shopping, and an amphitheater with a full schedule running May through October.

Check out a Bend Elks baseball game, ice skate at the Pavilion, join a soccer league, fish a river, play some pickleball or explore one of Bend Park & Rec’s nine off-leash dog parks for your furry bestie.
